Unfortunately, animal cruelty is all around us.  Although animal cruelty investigations are led by law enforcement, veterinarians play a huge role in these investigations.  On this show, Dr. Adam Stern, a veterinary pathologist specializing in veterinary forensics, will provide us with updates on the University of Florida’s role in these investigations and the training of the next generation of veterinarians.  Additionally, he will talk about his “A Dog Has No Name” and A Cat Has No Name” programs, aimed at identifying the cause of death of unowned, deceased animals in hopes of bringing animal abusers to justice.
