Common Problems Seen in Veterinary Emergency Rooms: Toxicities, Urinary Obstruction and More

No pet owner wants to have to make a trip to the veterinary emergency room, but unfortunately sooner or later many pet owners are faced with a problem their animal is having that needs immediate veterinary attention. On this show, Dr. Kathleen Maxwell, an emergency and critical care specialist, will discuss some of the more common cases seen and treated as emergencies, ranging from the ingestion of toxic substances to foreign body obstruction, urinary obstruction, snake bite and more, and how emergency veterinary doctors handle management of these issues when they occur.
