Extreme Weather Patterns and Natural Disasters are happening more frequently than ever before, and in addition to the risk they pose for people and property, they also increase the likelihood that your pets and farm animals will be exposed to infectious diseases. Dr. Sally DeNotta, a veterinarian and infectious disease specialist at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine, will discuss how your animals may be exposed to disease during extreme weather patterns, and more importantly – how you can prevent them from becoming infected.
